So for this post I have another cocktail with raspberries! YAY! Obviously I'm on some sort of a delicious, Summer-y kick... You're welcome.
This cocktail is a sweet bourbon drink with a perfectly subtle hint of raspberry. It's sweet in a way that doesn't hog the spotlight but doesn't have a too-strong bourbon taste either. In this drink there is a gorgeous marriage of flavors that come together in a way that can appeal to a wide range of cocktail drinkers.
I love this drink because, even though I'm from the Pacific Northwest, it makes me want to sit out on a big front porch on a hot Summer night in the South and talk about the gals in the neighborhood. Weird? Maybe... But at least I would have a good beverage to sip on.
This is a no nonsense cocktail with 3 easy to find ingredients that comes together in less than five minutes. So why not make it, right?
